Former Middletown Swimmer Putting A Face To PTSD
Michaela Kearney didn’t cry on the clear September day that she found her brother dead by suicide in their Middletown home. She was 13, and thought the open garage door of their Ridgefield Road house meant her parents were back from work. They didn’t let Michaela watch TV on school nights, so she had spent her Tuesday walk from school plotting what she’d watch if she beat them home.
