The Quell foundation announces the addition of Sarah Marshall as the Director of Marketing and Communications. At The Quell Foundation, she will be responsible for implementing the marketing and communications outreach around the foundation as well as for the documentary “Lift the Mask – Portraits of Life with Mental Illness”.
“Sarah is an energetic and creative young professional and we are thrilled to have her as part of the team,” said Kevin Lynch The Quell Foundation President & Chief Executive Officer. “She will bring a fresh, new perspective to the foundation and play a crucial part in the continued development of the company’s brand. I am personally looking forward to working closely with her as the company continues to grow.
“It is such an incredible honor to join The Quell Foundation and to be given this opportunity to work in support of its’ amazing mission. Most individuals know or are related to someone who is affected by mental illness. I look forward to dedicating my work in support of the foundation to eliminate the ‘taboo’ that is associated with this topic.”
Most recently, Marshall has been the Communications and Marketing Specialist for Communally, The Antipoverty Technology Company in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Prior to that, Marshall served as the Communications Manager for USRowing, the national governing body for the sport of rowing in the U.S., managing content and press coverage around domestic and international rowing events which included the 2016 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Marshall has also spent time in the athletic departments at Villanova University, Murray State University and The Ohio State University as a media relations assistant in sports information.
In addition to her communications work, Marshall volunteers for the Kensington Soccer Association and the Moonstone Arts Center and Preschool.
